It was a great product I definitely recommend getting this!

Greatness: This Is An Awesome Piece Of Equipment, For The Home Studio Set-Up

Mounting plate not strong enough to hold a shock mount with mic as U87

The product wobbles, it's ok for starter

I tried using this on multiple occasions. The way it is constructed makes it hard to use some microphones. I realize that for the price you need to be willing to accept less than what you'd get for higher priced units, but this one is such a pain to set up I gave up after a while. It sits in storage unused now.

As far as isolation goes, it did work. It isn't very heavy so it won't mess up boom stands very much with extra weight. But you won't be able to adjust the angle of the mic at all.

This was a poor purchase...
