April 2024 - previous owner of early 90s Ovation 12 string / and Eventide H3000 D/SE which lasted years.

So I knew I had to replace those when they finally bit the dust.

The Ovation 2758 sounds, feels, and looks stunning. Looked at many others, including the Guild D-2612CE, the Taylor 150e, Martin D X2E, Guild F-2512E, for me this was the one...

Order included an Eventide H90 (with Mission Engineering Eventide specific pedal) and there it is - sounds abs amazing, so much fun to play. Paid for the Gator case, Sweetwater was good on pricing.

Not to be missed, this guitar is a fantastically crafted musical instrument that does not disappoint! Very happy.

I love. this 12 string! The last Ovation 12 I played, was a 1978 balladeer from '1978-'1985. I loved that guitar as well. This comes without a case which is probably to keep cost down. I strongly suggest you get one! Don't let it sit! It's also made in Korea which for me, is a plus! The craftsmanship is all there and it looks and sounds like, no costs were cut. It's got a very loud projection with a mid deep low end. The back is contoured so it sits nicely but doesn't protrude too much like the old rounded backs. This works much better and is very comfortable. Sit's perfectly. I also love that you can adjust the action with just loosening the strings and lifting the bridge, two shim are under there, I removed the white one, (thicker of the two) and the action is just right for me now! It's still a 12 string so, if you're a newer player, it's gonna hurt for a bit but,, not as much as with other guitars in this price range. It's a really good finger workout! The action gets really low without any buzz! I haven't plugged it in yet but already know how it will sound, as I have other Ovations. I played these for over 50 yrs. I'm really happy with this guitar.

I'm always hesitant to buy guitars online without trying them out first, but this is my second Ovation and I couldn't be happier! The tone is just what I was looking for in a twelve string and it plays nice.

Received my Ovation in a few days, Very well packed, played perfect right out of the box, no adjustments needed. Action was great just like my 6 string Ovation I own. Had to tune it up a little, and stayed in tune. Love this 12 string, with the Deep Contour model you can play it siting down or standing and it doesn't slide, ovation owners with the older bowl backs will know what I mean. Anyway can't wait to play it on my next gig.
