Heritage Design, Unmatched Sound
Recording King has crafted instruments for nearly a century, honing their workmanship to deliver timelessly stylish guitars that sound as great as they look. With their Series 11 Single 0 acoustic-electric, you’re getting an all-solid experience that boasts loud, clean sounds in a lightweight, small-body frame. The Sitka spruce top and mahogany back, sides, and neck pair with a padauk fingerboard to deliver a rich, responsive sonic profile, and Fishman Sonitone electronics to pick up every frequency. Sweetwater’s guitar gurus are impressed with Recording King’s ultra-thin Zero-VOC finish — it's both environmentally friendly thinner than traditional materials, creating even more resonant instruments without sacrificing vintage RK panache.

Tones befitting a king
With a history of premiere craftsmanship, it’s only natural that this acoustic-electric is topped with solid Sitka spruce. This wood is known for its well-rounded, responsive tones, delivering punchy fundamentals with plenty of breathing room. Mahogany comprises the neck, back, and sides, providing a characteristically chewy midrange with blooming overtones and plenty of harmonics. A padauk fingerboard yields a solid character with strong lows, great sustain, and balanced projection. Taken together, this guitar boasts plenty of volume with a solid tonal profile, making this a great all-arounder both on and off the stage!

Sound out anywhere
Though it sounds superb unplugged, Recording King has outfitted their Series 11 Single 0 acoustic-electric guitar with a Fishman Sonitone pickup. This undersaddle system is designed to maximize quality while minimizing intrusion. The mounted preamp accompanies soundhole-mounted rotary volume and tone controls, giving you the flexibility you need with live performance that works to amplify the guitar’s natural sonic profile. Moreover, the unobtrusive design requires only one hole for its jack, leaving the natural tone and resonance of your guitar virtually unaffected. Plus, the scalloped “X” bracing pattern provides great structural support without sacrificing sound.
Versatile playability
Players of many styles will find the “C” shaped neck profile to be both comfortable and accommodating, with a smooth dovetail joint at the 12th fret. You’ll find the bone saddle and 1-11/16–inch nut keep your tones buzz-free, smoothly guiding your strings across the 25.4-inch scale. Twenty frets adorn the padauk fingerboard, sporting a 16-inch radius that boasts plenty of room for expression. Vintage style abounds across the Single 0’s hardware, with reliable tuning machines that capture the classic design detailing that distinguishes Recording King instruments.
