This case holds my Spector like a glove. I have a couple other gator cases for other basses, this is the same build quality and construction. Does it's job holding the bass in place with no movement. Just give the bass a little push in and it's home. A little expensive for what it is but a fraction of the cost of the bass. Spend the extra for the molded case, not the wood one. The wood case doesn't hold the bass as snug.

My Spector basses came with a gig bag witch was not only surprising but disappointing for such an expensive instrument, but I take care of my gear so I purchased this case over a standard case and it was a better choice. The molded plastic is a little thinner than I prefer but it would be waterproof over a traditional hard shall case and it's lighter. The quality is there and I would buy it again agter using it on the road. Plus it's cost effective.

If you spent money on a Spector, you need this case !

Since I couldn't google a direct experienced answer and had to ask around I'll leave this here for anyone else wondering. Yes, a 5 string Dimension will fit perfectly in this case. I was previously using a cheap universal hardshell and it fit loosely, but more concerning was, due to the angle of the headstock, it would rest on it instead of being supported by the body/neck. This is not the case with the Spector TSA case. My only gripe, and it's trivial, is that there is not enough room to keep the strap connected. But it doesn't really matter when I can have peace of mind that my bass will be safe in transport.
