The instrument’s remarkable sustain is further enhanced with a brass nut and Spector’s excellent zinc/brass alloy locking bridge. The Euro5’s 3-piece maple neck is topped by a silky smooth 24-fret ebony fingerboard emblazoned with Alex’s signature Blood Red Crown inlays. In the engine room, two beastly Seymour Duncan Hammer Smashed Bass humbucking pickups and a Darkglass Tone Capsule 3-band preamp running at 18 volts blast out the sound of modern metal bass.

The Euro5 LX Alex Webster holds down the low end in style. That’s largely thanks to a pair of powerful Seymour Duncan Hammer Smashed Bass humbuckers, fitted in the bridge and middle positions. This arrangement gives you the low-end punch from the pickup in the middle position, along with the aggressive growl from the bridge pickup. Mix up your signature blend, shape it with the onboard Darkglass Tone Capsule 3-band EQ, and you’re ready to destroy. The Seymour Duncan Custom Shop carefully voiced the pickups to Alex's specifications to deliver aggressive, yet expressive, tone that complements a wide variety of heavier musical settings; while the Tone Capsule gives you precise control over a wide range of frequencies.
