Reviews

I was just blown away !
First off I thought to myself "I need a Bass" and starting looking and when I seen this deal and for price, I said What the Hell. This was my first Squier and for the money why not. I had always liked the original P Bass, I just didn't want one in a Sunburst. I was in awe by the White Blonde. When I got her out of the case I was just blown completely away ! I expected something less of what I got. Almost completely Flawless ! There were two screws that were loose than normal and had to tweak the intonation and the action and relief were on the money. i haven't plugged her in yet but she plays very well and feel the sturdiness of the Instrument itself. i am going to do a couple of upgrades on her like the Pickguard wiring and a Bridge replacement in the near future. All in all this Instrument is worth every penny ! You just can't go wrong on this buy !

Love this bass!!!!
Great sound and looks sweet!!!!!
Plays really nice but not quite as close action as I would like, but close.
I did add "Lollipop" tuners for the look.
Surprised
This bass is great right out of packaging. My agent Jacob Agee always come through for me, all the time.Bass was delivered in 2 days, but gave it a 3rd day to warm up, winter weather, to room temperature. The color is so much beautiful than the photos showed. I have over 22 basses and this one will a lot of gigs this year. If you are seasoned or looking for an entry level bass, you won't be disappointed. Give Jacob a call, I know he will take care of you. Happy Playing.

The sound of classic Punk Rock
Drive or fuzz it a little, remove the booger hook perch and play. If you don't want to annoy your band mates and sound guy get a noise gate. I can't say anything bad about this thing it's heavy, clear and punchy; everything a Pbass should be yet its character is just a little different due to the single coil arrangement.

I play at the bridge with a pick

Blast from the past
I absolutely love this bass for the tone the feel the look. I did have too adjust the height of the pickup after looking up why my E string sounded sort muddy but a little flubbery as well. So I adjusted the height of the pickup and HEY WE ARE IN BUSINESS problem solved and it sounds pretty awesome and I do have Labella's on it. So if you have a problem with your sound you might check your pickup height? I have bought and sold a few CV's because I didn't quite like the sound and tone so it makes me wonder if the pickup's weren't adjusted properly and perhaps over looked in the inspection? Anyway I am glad that I got this bass and she sounds pretty sweet. I'm on a bass forum and I had asked about changing out the pickup and one guy said that he changed his out to Seymour Duncan Antiquity's pickup and he said it was weaker than the CV pickup and so he took it out and put the original one back in and he said he was glad on one hand but he also said he wasted money on the SEYMOUR DUNCAN. The 5P bass does have alnico 5 magnets in the pickup. That's a +++ I am the happiest I have ever been over a bass, I can't believe I am but I am! My sales engineer picked out the cream of the crop. I'm going to throw some SIT fusion strings on it next for a much more aggressive tone. I usually buy. Ernie Ball Cobalt's but I decided to take a chance and try a set of Labella RX and I did but I found them too sound sort of broken in but balanced. I probably will end up using Ernie Ball Cobalt's again after finding out that my pickup was off by quite a bit. Have fun and be happy! Love my bass!
