Head-turning tonewoods
Spector enlisted elite tonewoods and a neck-through design when constructing this USA NS-2. It all starts with a 3-piece maple neck, which sets you up for seriously impressive sustain. Then, Spector attaches ash body wings on either side to boost resonance. The body is finished with an attention-grabbing walnut burl top. Last but definitely not least, the USA NS-2 showcases an exotic ziricote fingerboard and roasted maple inlays.
Sculpt your sound with Aguilar electronics
Your new USA NS-2 is equipped with two Aguilar pickups and an onboard preamp. An Aguilar DCB M4 humbucker in the bridge pumps out thick, heavy tones. In the neck position, you’ll find a DCB 4P split-coil pickup for vintage-style thump and clarity. Both pickups run through a low-noise Aguilar OBP-3 preamp. You can shape the tone with a 3-band active EQ and push-pull midrange frequency selector. All told, the USA NS-2’s Aguilar formidable electronics package will take your bass’s voice to the next level.
