Don’t delay — exciting possibilities await
Curious about what MFM2 has in store for your audio? This u-he plug-in will keep you inspired to create with granular effects, filtered and frequency-shifted delays, chorus, flanger, resonator, ducked and compressed delays, massive glitch effects, and a whole host of other possibilities! MFM2 offers two input processors, allowing users to process input signals in pairs before sending them to the delay lines. Use the Transient control to boost or suppress spikes. Two non-resonant input filters stand ready to reduce frequency ranges or split frequencies into two stereo bands with independent delays. Next, four delay lines — synchronized, free, or even controlled by MIDI notes — offer expanded control and options.
You can also take advantage of four main filter spots to place in various positions in the signal path: two lowpass, two highpass, bandpass, bandreject, and allpass (phaser). u-he also included a feedback matrix, allowing you to specify how delay lines feed into each other — a User Matrix option puts the power in your hands to freely route signals between all four delay lines. To add interest to your audio, you can apply two effects to pre-feedback processing, choosing from limiter, bit crusher, phaser, frequency shifter, lowpass/highpass filter, granular pitch shifter, and diffusor (reverb-esque). Lastly, you can apply peak or RMS mode compression to put the final polish on your sound!
