Dark and Musical 7-piece
Whether you’re outfitting an entire cymbal configuration or simply adding a pair of complementing effects to your active arsenal, a Meinl cymbal bundle from Sweetwater is the perfect route for the utmost in pro-grade playability and quality sound. This 7-piece Classics Custom Dark cymbal bundle combines a 14-inch hi-hat pair, a 10-inch splash, 16- and 18-inch crashes, an 18-inch china, an 18-inch trash crash, and a 20-inch ride. These cymbals' dark finishing and wide-blade lathing produces a projective attack and a complex wash much unlike standard brilliant bronze effects. The tonal foundation is anchored with a deep, rich, and musical muscle to concoct a shadowy bronze atmosphere that's ideal for metal, rock, pop, and fusion genres. Forged from Meinl’s B12 bronze formula, this set offers impressive playability that will thrive in studio, practice, and performance settings alike. Meinl Cymbals 18-inch Classics Custom Dark China Cymbal
Sells separately for $209.99Meinl's 18-inch Classics Custom Dark China cymbal combines the rich and lush body of a classic China crash with the light and dark balance of the Classics Custom series. When you strike the 18-inch Classics Custom Dark China, the initial attack is bright and clear, the way you expect B12 bronze to sound, and if you wail on the oversized lip, you'll be rewarded with delightfully trashy tone. What Sweetwater drummers particularly like about this China is the contrast of a dark timbre with the brightness of the attack. This allows you to accent notes with the attack and let the short sustain fade quickly into the mix — a real treat for aggressive musical styles.

Meinl Cymbals 10-inch Classics Custom Dark Splash Cymbal
Sells separately for $89.99Most drummers don't associate dark tone and splash cymbals, but the Meinl 10" Classics Custom Dark Splash offers an exceptional example of how a small cymbal like this can provide extremely complex tone. To begin with, it's only fair to say that the Classics Custom Dark Splash's attack is bright, which the drummers here at Sweetwater appreciate, because it penetrates through blaring guitars wonderfully. But the short sustain is characterized with lower harmonics, which provides you with an impression of darkness. If you play metal, rock, or other aggressive styles, then the Classics Custom Dark Splash belongs in your kit.
