The Best 18" Cymbal for the Money, Bar None

We'll come right out and say it: we love this cymbal. While it's generally true that, in the cymbal world, you get what you pay for, the value of Wuhan 18" Crash/Ride far exceeds its sticker price. It's expertly cast from B20 bronze, the same alloy used in cymbals costing three times as much. This gives the Wuhan WUCRR18 a complex voice and an expressive dynamic range: a dark wash with plenty of bite to a dry, delicate ping to carry your choruses. Call your Sweetwater Sales Engineer to learn more about this and our other Wuhan cymbals.

Wuhan WUCRR18 18" Crash/Ride Cymbal Features:
  • Cast from B20 bronze - the same alloy used in much pricier cymbals
  • Musical dynamics
  • Complex voice
  • Ranges from dark swells to explosive crashes
  • Dry, delicate ping is good for accents to ride work
  • Medium weight
  • Penetrating tone
For unbeatable value and versatility, check out the Wuhan WUCRR18 18" crash/ride!

Pleasant surprise
Wasn't sure how'd this would sound as most crash/rides I've heard didn't sound that good. This one does a great job at both: close to the bell it sounds good as a ride and further out to the edge it has a nice crash effect.
Wuhan 18 inch Crash/Ride
Well, I'm happy with the cymbal, I'm happy with the sound, quality especially for the price, you can't beat it. I will be purchasing more. Also like the quick delivery, got it sooner than expected. Also like the willingness to help from the staff. Thanks Sweet Water!
Just what I was looking for
This cymbal pretty much just what I was looking for in a crash cymbal. It's bright but mellow and has a nice washy sound and plenty of sustain. I primarily use it for it as a crash. It doesn't quite have the nice ping of a true ride cymbal. Very happy with this purchase.

B20 at this price??!!
Cymbal sounds fantastic. At this price, I am shocked at the quality. More of a crash than a ride cymbal. Can't go wrong with this purchase.

Wuhan coming in hot exceeding more of my expectations
I've known for a long time that Wuhan makes great China cymbals. However until recently I had no idea they made other cymbals. I've been in need of a beefier crash/ride for a while and decided to give this one a shot. The price point is insane and the cymbal looks and most importantly SOUNDS amazing! Personally I like it more as a crash (which is what I was after) than a ride but can totally see someone using it for it's ride properties. It has a pronounced bell for da ping and it is a quite heavy warm sound. Wuhan has yet to disappoint me!
