Stellar Solution for Summing Two Channels to Mono

Need a simple, reliable way to sum two audio channels to a single mono channel? Sweetwater can highly recommend the Radial Mix 2:1, a passive 2-channel mixer that’s built to last. Just connect two audio channels (XLR or 1/4"), and the Mix 2:1 sums them to a single mono channel with XLR output. And if you encounter a phase-cancellation issue, simply press the 180 button to reverse the polarity of input 2. Use the front-panel input controls to balance your mix, or engage the level control bypass to sum both inputs equally. Whatever your application is, you can count on high-quality audio performance from the Radial Mix 2:1.

Radial Mix 2:1 Passive Mixer Features:

  • Passive 2-channel mixer with XLR and 1/4" inputs
  • Sums 2 channels to a single mono XLR output
  • Use input controls to balance your mix or bypass level controls for an equal mix
  • Polarity-reverse switch solves phase cancellation issues
  • Ground-lift switches help reduce hum and buzz caused by ground loops
  • High-fidelity audio with ultra-low noise floor
  • Ultra-rugged construction for long-term reliability

Reviews

Summing it up nicely
Works as described, sums two individual channels/signals together beautifully. An excellent addition to my studio. Using it to sum together two UAFX amplifier pedals a Dream65 and a Ruby63 for a lush mono signal. I can also run those in stereo when desired

Great Solution!
I needed a way to sum two in-phase signals to one mono signal for analog input to a sub woofer in my studio, because my simpler interface doesn't have that type of output. Worked perfectly! Silent, leveled output, clean!!

Works well to tie two mic signals together too!

Very Well Designed and Durable
I am using the Radial Mix to mix down two dynamic mics into one channel of a Fishman Loudbox Artist 2-Channel amp. The acoustic guitar goes into the second channel. This way I can have two vocals and one guitar (3 channels total) all going into the amp. It works great. It's totally passive, so no extra power required. All the knobs and switches have a good feel to them, and the unit's case is very thick. This thing is built like a tank. I think this is one of those pieces of gear I'll have for a long time. Very satisfied.

Radial Mix 2:1
It's pure clean and quiet quality. You can tell when you take it out of the box that it's built for longevity. Viva Canada!
I got the Radial Mix 2:1 to use with my recently acquired EVerse 8 battery speaker. to mix a couple guitars in a live application in one input.
It's just what I needed and I'll get another for 2 vocal mics and voila, four clean inputs, no extra power cords needed and more sounds on the pallete. It's sweet and John Beasley at Sweetwater guides me to the gear that's pleasing to the ear.
Music background: percussion and studio proprietor
Quality Product
Sometimes you need one more channel than your mixer provides. That's what happened to me. I combined two channels from my wireless rig into a single channel remaining on my mixer. The Mix 2:1 is very quiet and provides tools for common problems that occur when connecting to other electronics (phasing etc). Quality piece of gear.
