Roman Perschon founded Lewitt in 2009 with a dream to change the status quo of microphone design. Over a decade has passed since then, and Lewitt is stronger than ever, consisting of an international, diverse team of 100+ employees representing more than 20 nationalities and headquartered in Vienna, Austria.

Their invaluable feedback resulted in the LCT 1040, a dual-circuit tube/FET condenser microphone with a quartet of all-analog tube characteristics.
