What type(s) of hard drives can I use with the HDR?
You can use any DMA IDE hard drives in the removable Kingston drive bay on the front panel. The drives are 7200rpm and 2x file transfer rate. DMA drives use FAT32, which can boot up on a Widows 98/NT desktop (Macs use FAT16). The HDR also will support any SCSI peripheral drive through the built-in wide SCSI-2 port. At this point, you cannot record directly to the SCSI peripheral drive – it is for back-up only.
