What kind of latency can I expect with Tascam GigaStudio 3 running in standalone mode on my Windows PC?
If you have GSIF-2 compatable drivers for your soundcard (many manufacturers have or will provide them), atencies of less than 3 ms can be expected, depending on your PC’s specifications. GSIF-1 drivers will provide slightly higher latency, but quite usable as well.
