What is the Aardvark Aark24’s Generate MTC option for? Does the Aark24 generate midi time code?
This option switches the Midi port for the Aark24 between the standard Midi jacks and 9-pin Adat sync. They cannot be used simultaneously. The midi port in Windows will not appear to change – it will still show the Aardvark Midi in/out but if it is selected as Generate MTC, the only midi activity will be Midi Time Code and Midi Machine Control from the Adat 9-pin sync cable.
