A: Yes. Both, actually, plus much more. While it can’t be all things to all people, it does meet the signal routing needs of most smaller applications, and is used successfully in recording, live sound reinforcement, audio-for-video editing, sub or premixing in larger applications (and of course, those world-class margaritas).
