How do I verify the performance of external media from the HDR front panel?
1) Press the DISK UTIL button. If the Active Drive is the internal drive then select SET. From the Set Active Drive menu Select External, then select OK to return to the DISK UTILITY menu
2) Select VERIFY. The LCD screen will display a message asking you to confirm the VERIFY operation. Select OK to VERIFY . After a couple of minutes, the result of the test will be reported in the front panel display
