If I have the USB board installed in my sampler, can I connect a USB drive directly to the S5000 / S6000?
A: No, the samplers will not support direct connection of a USB drive. USB drives must be connected to a host device equipped with a Type A connector. The USB connection on the S5000/S6000 is a Type B connector, and is only designed to operate as a “slave” device with the ak.Sys software.
