My Universal Audio UAD1 card works fine for realtime processing for Steinberg Cubase SX or SL on Windows but when I do non-realtime processing it adds clicks. Can it do this?
Yes, but due to the nature of how it processes plugins in non-realtime (by right-clicking on the waveform and processing audio) the realtime engine must be stopped temporarily. You can do this by going to the UAD1 meter and unchecking the Enable All button while you process the audio file in non-realtime. Then switch it back on to use your realtime plugins.
