Turning on and Off midi channels , Gm and Local control How do I Setup the PC88 for Sequencing.
The PC 88 comes from the factory with all 16 midi
channels enabled and is pretty much ready to use with an external sequencer right out of the box. The only thing you’ll need to do is turn off “local control” turn the GM mode on or off, and depending on your requirements, disable or enable specific midi channels.
1. Local Control
1. Press the global mode button and use tha alpha wheel to enable or disable Local control.
2. GM mode
2. Do the same for GM mode (Global page#13) if you need the PC88 to playback a GM sequence.
3. Turning on and off midi channels
1. Go to receive channels and toggling between the channels with the cursor buttons, use the alpha wheel to turn channels on and off.
