How do I synchronize the Roland XP80 as a Master and as a Slave?
When synchronizing the XP80 to any other device, you will need to use MIDI Clock. ( not MTC or MMC )
Use the following procedure to set the XP-60/80 as Master.
1. Press Sequencer.
2. Press F1 [Setup].
3. Press F6 [SEQ Sys].
4. Set Sync Mode to INTERNAL.
5. Set Sync Output to ON.
Use the following procedure to set the XP-60/80 as a Slave.
1. Press Sequencer.
2. Press F1 [Setup].
3. Press F6 [SEQ Sys].
4. Set Sync Mode to SLAVE.
NOTE: The XP-60/80 will only slave to MIDI Clock.
