When starting ReBirth, I get a message saying ‘No MIDI device could be found’
You will see this message if you (1) have no MIDI drivers installed or (2) are running ReWire. Since Cubase steals all MIDI devices when running ReWire, there are none left for ReBirth. This is not an error message since ReBirth gets whatever MIDI it needs from Cubase. No problems!
