KURZWEIL K1000 SERIES
K1000 – 76 note keyboard, 24 voice polyphony, Base sound block. Can upgrade with KXAB. This unit requires daughter board for upgrade. Upgraded unit same as Pro 76 minus aftertouch.
K1000SE – 76 note keyboard, 24 voice polyphony, Base sound block, and aftertouch. Can upgrade with KXAB. No daughter board required. Upgraded unit same as Pro 76.
K1000 SE II – 76 note keyboard, 24 voice polyphony, Base sound block, aftertouch and Version 5 software. Can upgrade with KXAB. No daughter board required. Upgraded unit same as Pro 76.
K1000 SE II EXT – 76 note keyboard, 24 voice polyphony, Base and KXA sound blocks, aftertouch and Version 5 software. Can upgrade with KXB. No daughter board required. Upgraded unit same as Pro 76.
Pro 76 – 76 note keyboard, 24 voice polyphony, Base, KXA,and KXB sound blocks, aftertouch and Version 5 software. Fully upgraded unit.
K1200 – 88 note keyboard, 24 voice polyphony, Base, KXA,and KXB sound blocks, aftertouch and Version 5 software. Fully upgraded unit.
1000PX Professional Expander – Base Sound Block, 8 button front panel, pro software, 24 voice polyphony, K1000 in a module. Can upgrade with PXAB and PXB. Upgraded unit same sounds as Pro I.
1000SX String Expander – SX sound block, 8 button front panel, Pro software, 20 voice polyphony. Can upgrade with HXSX. Upgraded unit has same sounds as ProII.
1000HX Horn Expander – HX sound block, 8 button front panel, Pro software, 20 voice polyphony. Can upgrade with HXSX. Upgraded unit has same sounds as ProII.
1000GX Guitar Expander – GX sound block, 8 Button front panel, Pro software, 20 voice polyphony. No upgrade path available.
1000EX Ensemble Expander – Base Sound block, 23 button front panel, home software, 24 voice polyphony. Can upgrade with PXAB or PXB but will have professional software. Upgraded unit has same sounds as Pro I.
1000PX+ Professional Expander + – Based sound block and PXA. 23 button front panel, 24 voice polyphony. Can upgrade with PX+B. Upgraded unit same as Pro I.
1000AX Acoustic Expander – SX and HX sound blocks, 23 button front panel, 20 voice polyphony. Can upgrade with AXA. Upgraded unit same as Pro II. Can be converted to a Pro III with modifications.
AX1200 Acoustic Expander – Same as 1000AX with different name.
Pro I – Base, PXA ,and PXB sound blocks, 23 button front panel, Version 5 software. Fully upgraded unit – no upgrades available.
Pro II – SX, SXA, HX, HXA sound blocks, 23 button front panel, Version 5 software. Fully upgraded unit – no upgrades available.
Pro III – HX, HXA, and GX Sound blocks, 23 button front panel, Version 5 software. Fully upgraded unit – no upgrades available.

UPGRADES
KXAB – Has KXA and KXB sound blocks. This upgrade is for K1000 ( requires daughter board), K1000SE, K1000 SE II, and K1000 SEII EXT.
KXB – Has KXB sound blocks. Require KXA to be installed in machine. Installs in same machines as KXAB
PXAB – Has PXA and PXB sound blocks. This upgrade is for 1000PX.
PXB – Has PXB sound block. Requires that the PXA block be installed in machine. This upgrade is for 1000PX.
PX+B – Has the PXB Sound block. This upgrade is for the 1000PX+.
HXSX – Has the SX, SXA, HX, and HXA sound blocks. This is for either the 1000HX or 1000SX.
AXA – Has the HXA and SXA sound blocks. This is for AX+ module or AX1200.
