How do I reset the EMU MP7? Will it erase my patterns?
To reset the MP7 without erasing your sequences:
1. Power the unit off
2. Hold the 2 cursor buttons while powering the unit up.
3. Scroll the screen to “Init User Data Except Seq,”
4. Press Home/Enter.
5. The screen will say “Accept Seq?”
6. Press Home/Enter twice.
7. The screen will say “Resetting Non-Sequential Data, Making Backup” and then “Compacting Free Space”
8. When it’s finished, power the unit off and back on.
