I receive an Error 25009 message in Windows when trying to install my Yamaha USB MIDI driver
Click on Start> Run and type regedit.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Microsoft > Windows NT > Current Version > Drivers32. On the right pane, delete your Midi values (ex. midi1, midi2, midi3…etc.)
Next reinstall drivers for any devices you have that use MIDI. Likely the drivers for your audio interface. Now your Yamaha USB installer will work.
