ProControl Faders : Problems with faders failing, sticking, etc.
The primary reason ProControl faders fail is dirt adhering to lubricant on the glide rail assembly. The dirt causes mechanical interference with the glide, and the fader consequently fails to operate. You can fix this by cleaning the rail with a lint free cloth and some Isopropyl alcohol, and then relubricating with sewing machine oil. It is very important that you use this oil or equivalent.
