Pro Tools freezes when trying to record MIDI on IAC channel 2 or above.
If the IAC bus is enabled as a MIDI Input Device and you attempt to record MIDI on IAC MIDI channel 2 or higher, Pro Tools will freeze due to a MIDI feedback loop.
Disabling the IAC bus as a MIDI Input Device will eliminate the feedback loop and allow recording on MIDI channel 2 or higher.
This is a known issue with Pro Tools.
