Can I play the Output of Toast through my Digi001?
Yes. If you have loaded the Digidesign Sound Driver (Found on the ProTools CD) , go to your Sound Control Panel on the Mac.Click on the “Output” tab.Here you will see Built In and Digidesign options. Click on Digidesign and close the control panel.Now launch Toast.When you press play , the sound will now come out of the Digi001!
Be Advised! There is a possible Driver conflict between ProTools and the Digidesign Sound Driver. If you get a MacOS-200 Error you may not be able to use the Digi001 with Toast.
Also if you get a “ProTools hardware is ither not installed or is in use by another application” error while launching ProTools, you will need to set the Apple Sound Control Panel back to “Built In” and then restart to free up the Digi001 Hardware.
