When I play a CD or DVD, I get distortion, clicks and/or pops. I tried switching my Sound Control panel output from built-in to my audio hardware (digidesign, pci324, etc)
From the Apple Menu, select “Appearance” from the Control Panels pop-up. Click the SOUND tab. Change the “Soundtrack” option from “Platinum…” to “NONE”.
