How do I pervent digital clipping on Buss Sends to a Aux Track in ProTools LE?
ProTools Fader meters usually shows the Signal that was recorded to disk.This is called “Pre Fader Metering”. If you clipped your signal while recording,or increased its gain with a Plugin ,it will clip in your fader meters.(Both track and Send Meters.) Deselect “Pre Fader Metering” under the “Operations” menu in ProTools , and then adjust your mix , so that your not clipping any more.This will stop the red clipping indicators and improve your overall Mix gain staging.
