I have never been able to load banks into Absynth under VST. Why?
You need to load the banks from the engine that runs in the background, you will not be able to perform this from the VST plug-in interface. Simply toggle to the engine and choose File-> Open, and then choose the bank you want to load from the Absynth “Sound Library” folder.
