My Antelope Audio Orion 32 is stuck in “Loader Golden Boot.”
This can happen if a firmware update fails on an Orion 32 which will leave it in an unresponsive state. To fix this:
- Unplug the Orion 32 from your computer.
- Plug the Orion 32 into a different computer. This is necessary to reset the firmware on the unit.
- On the “new” computer, download the Orion 32 Control Panel from Antelope.
- Unplug the Orion 32 from that computer, then plug it back into the original machine.
- You should now be able to boot up the Orion 32 normally.
To ensure this does not happen again, always make sure you do not interrupt the firmware update process for any reason.
