How much recording time can I get on the PockeTrak W24?
The C24 has a built-in 2GB flash memory, providing 26 hours of MP3 recording time (PCM: 7 hours).
Using the supplied 2GB microSD memory card doubles this
amount. You can also use higher capacity cards.
Here are some approximate recording times for various modes and card sizes.
Linear PCM, 24 bit/96kHz:
2 GB SD card = 55 minutes
8 GB SD card = 3 hours 40 minutes
16 GB SD card = 7 hours 20 minutes
Linear PCM, 16 bit/44.1kHz
2 GB SD card = 3 hours
8 GB SD card = 12 hours
16 GB SD card = 24 hours
Stereo MP3 (320 kbps)
2 GB SD card = 13 hours
8 GB SD card = 54 hours
16 GB SD card = 108 hours
The listed recording times are approximate. Actual recording time will depend on the specific microSD memory card
used. If multiple audio files are recorded the total recording time will be less than listed above. The maximum size of any
single audiofile is 2 GB.
