My MTPAV-parallel is showing wierd outputs in Windows.
This could happen if you have accidentally installed the Win2k / WinXP drivers on a Win98 / WinME platform. The device will partially show up but the console will crash and in Windows control panel, Multimedia (or Sounds & Multimedia), Devices, Midi Devices & Instruments, the MTPAV will show many ‘OUT ALLs’ and adat ports as well as several listings of 1-8 outputs. In Device Manager, the MTPAV will show up under Sound, Video, and Game controllers, and is not supposed to with the correct drivers.
To fix this problem, simply remove the Win2k drivers and reinstall the proper drivers.
