My M- Audio (FireWire1814, Firewire410, FirewireAudiopile) is not being recognized by ProTools M-Powered
Do not install the driver on the CD that came with your new soundcard. Go to www.m-audio.com
Click on the >Drivers button.
Using the ” Drivers Search” pulldown menu select your Model number. ( e.g. Firewire 1814).
Then, underneath that pulldown box use the pulldown box that say’s “ANY”
Choose your operating system (e.g. Windows XP)
Click the “Submit” blue button.
You will see the latest version of the driver under the “file name”. ( e.g. FW WDM 5.10.0.5034.exe )
Click on this file and run the installer,
restart your computer and
Protools will now “see” your card.
