My iRig is much lower in volume on my Stratocaster Guitar compared to my Les Paul guitar
Les Paul’s have totally different Pick UP’s than Strats. Strats have 3 x Single Coil Pick ups, Les Pauls have 2 Humbucker pick ups. Humbuckers are twice as powerful as single coils.
Also consider these facts:
Users expect the highest quality from the iRig, not considering the considerable constraints given the nature of these mobile devices. The iRig is designed in such a way to handle a variety of varying input levels and can tend to average things out. Thus sometimes high output guitars can clip at full volume (on guitar) and lower output guitars can sound a bit lower. This is inherent in the iRig itself.
This all said, the software is part of the issue as well, as it currently lacks an input/output level control within the app itself.
