Installation of SampleTank RTAS Plug-in in Pro Tools
Insert the SampleTank CD and double-click “Install SampleTank RTAS “. After accepting the license agreement, You are asked to enter our serial number (you can find it in the registration card included in the box).
The installer will locate the DAE folder in the s stem folder of our startup hard disk. The plug-in will be installed in:
System folder :Extensions :DAE :Plugins
Furthermore, a folder called “IK Multimedia” is created at the root level of our startup disk and, by default, all the instruments samples will be installed there, inside the “SampleTank Instruments “folder. The CD installer performs both the plug-in and the instruments setup. During the setup procedure You ‘ll be asked to select which categories of instruments are to be installed. You can alway s complete the installation at a later time, or even copy manually the instruments from the Tank CDs to the folder of our choice.
After the installation process has ended You can launch Pro Tools. If this is the first time You have SampleTank on your system, on the opening of Pro Tools You see SampleTank ‘s authorization window asking for our Authorization Code.
To receive the Authorization Code, You need to register in the SampleTank web site, using the serial number printed on the registration card and the Digital ID displaced in the authorization window. This process is very fast.
