How to avoid an “NG” message when updating the firmware on a Yamaha Montage.
- Be sure to use a Yamaha approved Flash Drive.
- Format the USB Flash drive using the instructions here.
- Download the latest Firmware here. It will download as a .zip file.
- Remove all files from your Flash Drive.
- Unzip the firmware and move the 8N70OS_.PGM file to root directory of your USB flash drive.
