How do I update the Eleven Rack firmware?
To update your Eleven Rack’s firmware, you will first need to download the firmware updaters. Note: Do NOT install the 1.x firmware if you’ve installed the Eleven Rack Expansion Pack. The Expansion includes firmware 2.x. Earlier versions will overwrite the Expansion firmware.
The download will contain an application that will install the Firmware Updater on your computer. Before launching the Firmware Updater, ensure the following:
- Eleven Rack is powered on
- Eleven Rack is plugged into your computer via USB
- Pro Tools is NOT running
You may now launch the the Updater.
Note that the update takes a few minutes to complete and will not erase any Rigs or User settings. The Eleven Rack Drivers must be installed on your computer for the firmware update to work.
