How do I hard (factory) reset the Kurzweil Mark 8?
Here is the procedure to hard reset your Kurzweil Mark 8:
1. Turn the unit off
2. Hold down the BROADWAY/CLASSICAL, 16 BEAT-1/16 BEAT, and FILL TO ORIGINAL buttons and turn the unit ON
3. Hold the buttons for 5 seconds, release all buttons
4. Press the CHORUS/ECHO/SYMPHONIC button
5. Wait 5 MINUTES and then turn the unit off. The Mark 8 is now reset
