I’ve got Guitar Rig working fine…both as a standalone and a plugin…however…out of the right channel (the one that’s controlling the footswitch)…is this awful “sine wave” sound…I assume that’s the hardware communicating with the software…is there any way to either reduce it’s volume…or better yet, eliminate it completely?
If you hear the control signal (tone) from Rig Kontrol please check the following:
– Your soundcard has a Direct Monitoring function which is activated.
– Automatic detection is off and you have choosen both channels or the wrong channel.
– You have recorded the control signal on one channel of a stereo track and the Guitar Rig is bypassed
If Direct Monitoring is on then the output signals from Rig Kontrol bypass the plug-in and software and go directly to the main outputs of your soundcard. Some cards have a knob to switch between input (monitoring) and playback. Some have this feature in the soundcard control panel. In addition, you can also turn direct monitoring off in some host programs.
