Does Gary Garritan Personal Orchestra work with built-in consumer soundcards or does it require a pro-audio card with ASIO drivers on Windows XP?
GPO standalone and plugin versions will work with a consumer audio card, but may be subject to higher latency than pro-audio cards which have ASIO drivers.
However, the GPO Studio application (which gives functionality to programs like Finale, Sibelius, and other sequencers) will not work correctly without ASIO drivers and thus requries a pro-audio card with ASIO drivers.
