Why does Gary Garritan Personal Orchestra Studio application give errors about my consumer soundcard not being full duplex on Windows XP?
The GPO Studio application (which gives functionality to programs like Finale, Sibelius, and other sequencers) will not work correctly without ASIO drivers and thus requries a pro-audio card with ASIO drivers.
You can try downloading a free ASIO software emulator such as ASIO for All and see if it works on your system.
The standalone and plugin versions of GPO will work with consumer cards.
