Why do I have to enter my name, company, and TSID/CD-Key every time I start Toast?

This information applies to Toast 4.x Deluxe Suite, Toast 5.x Titanium Suite on Mac OS 8.6, OS 9.X and OS 10.X

For Mac OS 8.X and 9.X:

This problem appears to be caused by a conflict with a 3rd extension. There are two things you can attempt to correct this problem:

1. Restart your Macintosh and hold down the shift key until you see the message “”Extensions Disabled””.

2. Launch Toast and enter your personal information.

3. Restart your Macintosh again to verify that Toast is still personalized.

If the problem still occurs,

1. Boot off of your Macintosh System CD.

2. Launch Toast and enter your personal information and then restart your Macintosh off the hard drive to verify that Toast is still personalized.

For Toast 5.X and Mac OS 10.X

We have fixed this problem with an update to Toast. Please go to http://support.roxio.com/en/support/roxio_support/software_updates.jhtml to download the latest update.
