I’m downloading from the Reaktor 4 library and when I go to open a new ensemble, I get “Not a valid file” error and the program crashes. The file I downloaded also looks like a blank document, and does not have Reaktor icon like the rest of my library flies.
Many of the user instruments and ensembles uploaded are designed on the PC platform. So there are a few steps on how to conver these files properly to allow Reaktor on the Mac to see them: 1. download the “reaktormaker” program that is available on the user library for all users. 2. simply drag-n-drop the downloaded file into the reaktormaker program and this will convert it for you. you can drag 1 file or many files at the same time. reaktormaker will generate a confirmation message letting you know if the file conversion was successful. you should then be able to open the ensemble file.
