1. Trash the Cubase preferences, empty the trash, reboot and then relaunch
Cubase VST.
2. Minimize the number of active extensions.
3. Allocate more memory to Cubase VST.
4. Wipe all traces of Cubase VST, reboot and then reinstall fresh.
