How to create a new song on the D1600?

1. Creating a new song
1 Press the [SONG] key to access the “SelSong” tab
page.
2 Press the “New” button.
The “MakeNewSong” dialog box will appear.
3 Select the quantization bits/number of tracks for
the song that will be created, and select the mixer
settings.
Use the “SongType” radio buttons to select the
number of bits and tracks. Set the “MixerSet” radio
buttons in the same way. (p.89 “SongType,”
“MixerSet”)
4 Press the “OK” button.
A song named “NEWSONG” will be created following
the last song that currently exists.
