Which cards can run realtime DSP plug-ins in a VST environment?
There are four audio cards that provide additional DSP resources in addition to the Cubase VST environment. The Yamaha DSP Factory works as an audio card and provides additional mixing capability through a software environment into Cubase. The Creamware Pulsar works as an audio card and provides additional DSP as VST plug-ins. The Universal Audio UAD-1 is only a DSP card to run plug-ins in VST format. TC Works PowerCore card is also a DSP only card for running plug-ins. These cards only work with each company’s plug-ins and will not run Native based plug-ins.
