My BR800 doesn’t work with phantom power.
The only input that works with phantom power is input 4. Plug your mic into input 4. Go to Menu> System and be sure that phantom power is switched to ON. Go to Menu> Input Settings and be sure that your Input is set to Input 4 and mode is set to MONO REC. The channel 4 trim knob will adjust your input level for the mic regardless of what track you are recording to.
