Authoization tips for Mac users with Retro/Unity Version 2.0.0 CD-ROM or higher (also Retro AS-1 v.2.0.1 or higher):
1. Install Retro/Unity v.2.0.0 from the CD-ROM. Choose Custom Install>System Files Only if the software is already installed. Close the Authorizer immediately after installation.
2. Go to www.bitheadz.com/updates and download the Retro/Unity v.2.1 updater. Make sure you install the update into the Unity/Retro folder on your drive.
3. After the installation has completed, type your Registration Code into the Registration field of the Authorizer.
4. The Challenge will appear, but the Response field should be gray and display the text “Not Required”. At this point, click “Register”.
5. Fill out the form with the appropriate information.
6. Then you can select “Standard Mail or Fax” or “Electronic Registration”. If you have already registered the software choose “Standard Mail or Fax”
7. Click “OK”. A message will appear on your screen stating that a text file has been generated in your Retro AS-1 Folder.
8. Click “OK” again and a message will appear telling you that “You are fully authorized for Retro AS-1”.
9. You then can copy and paste this text file into an email and send it to registration@bitheadz.com to fully register your software if you have not already done so. If you have already registered, there is no need to email us this form again.
Electronic Registration:
Will allow you to automatically send the Registration info to BitHeadz, provided you are setup to send email at the time. You will receive an auto-response from our email server to confirm that BitHeadz received your email.
